The Grundfos NS single horizontal centrifugal pumps feature cast-iron pump bodies and composite or cast-iron impellers for a long lifetime of reliable operation. The Grundfos NS are non-self-priming pumps, suitable for a variety of applications in private dwellings and light industry. The pump features a totally enclosed, fan-cooled induction motor. The rotor is mounted on oversized greased-for-life ball bearings, ensuring silent running and long life. Single-phase pumps have built-in overload protection and a capacitor that is permanently in circuit.

NS is a robust centrifugal pump designed for lifting water in domestic, industrial and agricultural installations. NS is available both as single-impeller and twin-impeller pump.
The Grundfos NS pump range has been
designed with medium to large scale water
transfer purposes in mind. It is perfect for
lowering water levels and transferring water
quickly between dams or tanks.
After priming and the addition of a foot valve,
the NS is capable of suction lift of up to 6
metres.
