ASC Grinder Cutter GC-07A Macerator Pump
A grinder pump is a type of wastewater pump that is designed to handle and grind up solid waste and flushable materials in residential or commercial buildings. It is typically used in locations where the main sewer line is located at a lower elevation than the building’s plumbing fixtures, making it difficult for gravity to move the wastewater from the building to the sewer line.
Grinder pumps are often used in areas where traditional gravity-based sewage systems are not possible or practical, such as in areas with rocky soil, high water tables, or steep slopes. They are also commonly used in areas with a low population density or in remote locations, such as campgrounds or rural homes.
The ASC GC-07A is a high quality, heavy duty, compact grinder / cutter / macerator pump. It is suitlable for use as an effluent pump, drainage pump, septic pump and aerated sewage treatment pump. It’s all cast iron construction give is a high efficiency for heat conduction. It is made with a cast-iron seal plate with double mechanicla seal to ensure the greatest quality.
The 410 stainless steel shaft has a double mechanical seal, while the strainer stand, motor head cover, motor frame and vortex impeller are in cast iron.
